Welcome to iamstevenmichael.com, my online domain for everything me. Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, I currently reside in Palm Springs, California, where I’m a freelance Magazine Columnist, Published Author, Pageant Judge and Award-Winning Choreographer. I’ve lived many places and seen many faces, and enjoy being a storyteller of sorts. A natural quick wit gets me through the tougher times and my honest off-the-cuff ponderings make my writings enjoyable to both read and write.

I started dancing as soon as I could walk but the technical training began at sixteen and continued throughout the years. My dance forte is Jazz with a flash of Hip-Hop, but I’ve studied Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, African, and Acrobatics. My rhythm comes as a blessing and developing choreography thankfully comes easier than it should. I’ve worked with Competitive Dancers, Female Impersonators, Erotic Performers, Color Guards and Cheerleading Squads. Any challenge or responsibility is worth the outcome of generous applause. When I’m not working, I enjoy being a doting father to our Jack Russell Terriers, Barney and Britney, and a loving husband to my partner of eleven years, Jacques. I’m employed fulltime at World Gym in Palm Springs and on days off tend to snow ski or swim and splash with the dogs, depending on the season. Developing new projects continually interest me so I seem to stay busy doing something to better our lives and advance careers.
