I recently received the press release I had been waiting desperately for. Last holiday season we found ourselves enjoying the Ice Rink at the Boulevard Pool above the Las Vegas Strip at The Cosmopolitan for my birthday with our girlfriend Amber, a showgirl from the Luxor show of bombshell beauties Fantasy. The weather was stunningly crisp and just perfect for exciting rounds of skating across the iced-over pool underneath the 2995-room mega resort that we have called home the last 4 times we’ve descended on Sin City. And we’ve just now booked our next holiday excursion for Xmas because as I swear there’s no place like The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas anywhere. And here’s why…
The culinary experiences are fabulously exquisite. We tend to find ourselves at China Poblano for lunch while Scarpetta, Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar or STK does us so right at night. The possibilities are a’plenty. When you’re ready to really put the eating down find yourself at Wicked Spoon for the buffet explosion of a lifetime. We have yet to try it but plan on grazing down on our next adventure. We’re catching up on things we’ve always wanted to do but hadn’t. One morning we’re doing fabulous room service for an intimate continental breakfast but I know we’ll find ourselves at Wicked Spoon the next day chowing the chow down! The selections will be crazy good.
And speaking of deliciousness… The Ice Rink’s signature cocktail, the “Campfire Delight,” created with Van Gogh Dutch Chocolate Vodka, crème de cacao, RumChata and marshmallow will return for the season. Enjoy one as you spread your blades across the expanded rink area or snuggled by the warm fire pits! Seasonal food offerings including the toasted homemade cashew butter and roasted strawberry jam sandwich (I’M DYING FOR THIS!) and beef chili, grilled corn bread with aged cheddar along with staples like grilled cheese and tomato soup will heat you up and keep your energy strong. Don’t forget the fireside s’mores kits where you do your own. It’s all quite the experience. We loved our time there last Christmas and can’t wait for this season’s trip once more. Booking it very soon!
The way the lights from The Strip twinkle and burn brightly at night simply makes the moment on the ice that much more special. I’m no stranger to Las Vegas and often find it difficult to explain what the city makes me feel. It’s magical and now considering myself a good friend of The Cosmopolitan see us at no other resort from this moment on. There are other amazing properties on The Strip but when you walk into the residential-style living spaces and slide open the terrace doors leading to the selling point of the entire thing, your own private balcony, you’ve truly reached heaven.
I could go on all day and night about The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas but basically all I want to say is “JUST GO!” Thank me later and buy me a special something inside their fabulous shop Monogram after your deep tissue massage and beauty treatment at Sahra Spa and Hammam. Been there – Loved that! Drop some coinage inside their 100,000 sq. foot luxurious casino and remember to join their Identity Club to gain points and rewards while doing so. And check out their website for resort reservations, rental prices for the Ice Rink, New Years Eve tickets to Bruno Mars and everything one needs to know about the phenomenal Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas! ♥
